In Germany in 1963, two brothers realized the need to stop the harmful and dirty particles given off by the then popular coal ovens. Together, the Hammes brothers developed the very first home air filter with a simple fiber pad. Ever since then their company (which relocated to Switzerland in 1978) , IQ Air, has been developing the most up to date air purifier technologies in the world with world-class performance and Swiss precision.
